Gillian Wortley is the CERTIFY Lead at the Room 217 Foundation where she has been instrumental in guiding organizations to achieve certification in Music Care. Before joining the Room 217 team, Gillian had a distinguished career as an educator in Ontario’s public school system and London’s private schools in the UK, where she specialized in music education. She holds a Master of Arts from OISE where her research centered on mindfulness practices on developing self-regulation in classroom settings. Gill is a sought-after speaker and workshop facilitator providing education to caregivers across various sectors on the transformative power of music care.
