Dr. Heather Mohan is a Registered Clinical Counsellor, Certified Music Therapist, and Executive Director of LUMARA with over 30 years of experience in hospice, palliative, and bereavement care. She has worked extensively in hospitals, hospices, and educational institutions across Canada, developing grief support and education programs that have supported thousands of individuals and families.
Heather also serves as an Adjunct Professor in the UBC Department of Medicine (Division of Palliative Care). An internationally recognized speaker and educator, she was awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012 for her contributions to hospice and palliative care.
